Black Friday was 15 April 1921 in the UK, but it seems this may have changed?

I was taught in school about Red and Black Friday, all hinged around the general strikes, in the USA their tax year-end/start generates a need for some stored to reduce stock, but if transferred to UK it would be Friday before the 5th of April, so close to the 15th, so could be easily combined, but the way it is going we will start to celebrate when we lost a battle, which of course the colonists won, when will it stop?
