My black waste bin collects water on top of it’s lid - so when wheel it to the kerb on bin day after a shower, you tip the water all over your front
Probably due to a detail to help increasing its strength, the centre front of the lid is lower and catches rain.

I had the idea of heating the backside and pushing it upwards to be convex rather than concave.
Thoughts?
Anybody done it?
Was thinking careful use of a hot air gun

Thanks

Now that's what I call first world problems.
Can't you just remember not to do it next time? Or build a bin store.

No idea about heat, sounds feasible.

I do tend to remember, but just my luck to shove the last bag in one bin day and manage to drench my front. There’s about a pint on a bad day!

Are we talking wheely bin here?

If so then yes take a hot air gun to it then (wearing gloves) push it upwards from inside as you suggest.
Or.... drill a hole in the middle at the lowest point.

your bin would be perfect for this wee fella
