Before i get booted off here for swearing at my central heating, can someone answer a quick question please?

We have recently had a combi boiler installed, and are still having to bleed a number of the upstairs radiators.... is this normal?
We kind of assumed that the bleeding problem would be removed when the new boiler went in.

thanks in anticipation....

I assume you still have the old radiators. It is sometimes necessary to bleed the system a few days/week after a new installation. This is quite normal and settles down. However, if you have to do this more than a couple of times you probably have a small leak somewhere on the system which you need to trace and fix. Look around the rad valves first.
