I am boarding my loft but may have come across a slight problem.
I have a 6 year old house.
I am removing the 20 cm glass fibre then replacing with 5.5mm ply,100mm celotex then t+g chipboard flooring on top.
I know the new loft cant take much weight so im only using for old toys etc so nothing too heavy.
After removing the glass fibre I have found that the joists are joined by nail plates that I will be boarding over.
My question is this still ok to board it without causing problems below.
many thanks
