Need help on boilers..

I have set the programmer to start c/h from 6 AM for 3 hrs..These days it seem running after 3 hrs ...

Model GlowWorm - Space save 50

Please advise for the required action ..

Did it ever run as you programmed it to?
Do you have 2-port zone valves installed, if so one could be stuck open (probably HW - you'd know if the heating was on 24/7)

H/w works fine thru programmer .I turn off the power to stop c/h at the moment.

Recently I have installed a new motorized value (honeywell)..Is the problem due to some setting with this ..

What is the purpose of this value ?

Thanks ...

You've just revealed something that seems very important to the analysis of the problem. Did the problem start before or after you installed the new valve?

Also, were you replacing a faulty valve or adding a new one?
If a new one, how did you connect it up?
If a replacement, was the old one also a Honeywell?

I heard a humming sound in the value that lead me to replace the valueCorgi man replaced existing Honeywell with a new one of the same type..Looks identical to the old one

Both c/h and h/w worked fine for couple of times ..Later I got the issue

Mathew - an important question - which of the following is true:

"Recently I have installed a new motorized value"
or
"Corgi man replaced existing Honeywell with a new one"

If you replaced it, then I would recommend that you dig out the paperwork that came with the valve and double-check your wiring.

If someone else replaced it, then I don't understand why you haven't called that person back again to diagnose the problem that arose after their work was carried out - it might be covered under warranty.

For this topic it sounds like its time to revisit the 'new topic' advice - please see before you ask a question please read this for the guidance.

Apologies for the confusion ...I am new to boliers and its underlying working..

Last week I had a problem with bolier which failed to boil water .It was due to humming sound at the Value and called the corgi worker to look at the issue . He replaced the Honweywell value with the new one of the same type ..I have 2 honeywell values installed near the bolier ,other one may be for the c/w .

After the installation , we did couple of tests with C/w and H/w on at the same time and has started working smoothly for few days ..

Last day we progammed to start c/w (not h/w) at 6.00 AM - 9.00 AM..This time the system failed to stop c/w after 9.00 AM ..This is my actual problem ..

Now I have identified a way to stop c/w .. Start H/w and turn it off to down c/w ..This just happened by trial way ..

Is this problem due to wiring with the new value ?

Any way , I have called the corgi registered to come and check the wiring with the new value once again ..

Thank you very much ...
