Last week I had a new combi boiler and Tado smart thermostat installed. All seemed to be working fine.
My concern is, every single time the heating comes on, the relative humidity measure increases by 2-3% within 30 mins, without fail. (Boiler in same room as sensor). After about an hour the humidity is down to lower than initial levels, presumably because the air is warmer.
Theres no other activity going on in that room, so why is rel. humidity rising? My worry is the boiler is leaking vapour (or worse) into the room and this is being measured.
I have a CO alarm which has not gone off. Is there an obvious explanation I'm missing?
Thanks
