boiler lockout

Hi,

We have a Vokera Linear combi.
It repeatedly locks out.
It will reset, start and run for awhile then locks out.
It will accept a reset every time, but then will fail again.

Code is 01, which I understand to be the "fail to ignite".

Can anyone suggest some diagnostic steps to try and trace the problem.

The fact that the boiler actually starts up and runs for a while suggests it's ************* behind your problem.
Like everyone says call a Gas-safe engineer.

It's almost certainly going to be a dodgy flux magnetron.

RGI time I think.

The flux capacitor resistance cell is well known problem with these appliances.
I find a hard knock with a piece of wood solves the problem. Ie a hammer shaft. If not try turning the spur off repeatedly until your finger aches!
