Hi
Anyone know what could be wrong with my boiler? Its leaking quite heavily from the bottom where the white key goes in. If i leave the white key in, although the boiler is turned off the pressure gage still rises and it makes a slight humming type of noise.

Ive tried turning the key both ways to stop the leak but it does nothing.

its also leaking out of the pipe thats outside?

The boiler is worcester CDi24

Any help/advise GREATLY apreciated.

Thanks

Lee

You have to turn off the water from two little knobs on either side of the white "T" key.

It sounds as if you have left them open or they are leaking.

Do you understand the procedure to repressurise the boiler? Do you do it regularly.

If the pressure is too high the relief valve will open to let the pressure out, thats what it is meant to do.

Hi Tony

Thanks, I think I may have fixed the problem. I pushed the T key in then turned the knob t the side to tighten it , had to use some plyers as think the twisty bit had broken off at some point.

The pressue is now up at 2- is that okay, think before it used to be around 1.5- 2?

Cheers for the advise
