I just got a boiler stove put in and it has boiled the water a few times in the last few mornings that I lit it.

water has come out the expansion tank overflow.
Any suppestions to what I could check?
All valves are open and it is an 'open system' like it should be.
Pipe stat is set to 45deg, as per makers recommendation

It is a double pass boiler - just the gravity does not look like its moving to well - could it be air?

After reading up a little, thermosyphoning makes the gravity work - but does the temperature of the hot water cylinder affect this?
will it not work if the water is too hot which will prevent the water cooling properly. I mean like the water in the cylinder was nearly 60deg.

The guy who put it in said that happens the odd time but is it supposed to?
