Bosch Dishwasher recall

The on going Bosch Neff and Siemens Dishwasher recall.........is this fault related to a failed heater element or could it be. Have an affected dishwasher where the heating side has packed up but for the cost of a new element pack I can get a used two year old one!!

Any ideas?

The recall is to check the PCB in the door.No heat is more likely to be the PCB.If yours is in the affected Models get Bosch out,but they won't change the element if it is faulty.

So the fact that the thing stopped heating could be down to the PCB they are coming to check if I'm lucky?

Wifey did remark at the time it stopped heating she thought she could smell something electrical burning which I couldn't and blamed it on her cooking.

The plaster cast was removed last week!
