Bosch Dishwasher Trips RCD Breaker

Hi,
I have a 6 year old Bosch dishwasher that over the last few days has started to trip the RDC breaker that protects the plug sockets in my house, I also think that the machine may not be heating the water, could a faulty heating element also cause the breaker to trip or could it be the thermostat when that clicks on to turn on the heating element???

probably the heater, disconnect it & run the machine. Does it work ok doing a rince as I think thats cold water only.
