Bosch dishwasher

Water seems to occasionally come through the upper rotor arm and although it doesn't spin and at other times no water comes up the spine into the upper rotor arm.

I've called 2 cos. and they charge a ridiculous amount of money for what may be a simple solution.

Any ideas?

Give it a good dose of dishwasher cleaner. This cleared a surprising amount of goo from ours (and it was new at Christmas too; it doesn't take long it seems). Even if it doesn't cure the problem for you, at least you'll be working with a clean machine.
