Bosch error F17

Keep getting the above fault code on my Bosch WAE24868 washing machine.

Happens on rinse part of cycle ( so on a normal cotton cycle which is timed at about 1hr 13, it happens around 40 mins left ), but only seems to happen when washing present in machine. Doesn't happen when machine empty and on standard cycle. Drains OK.

Have cleaned out filter at bottom right of machine, ( found a couple of foreign objects but still happens now clean ). Impeller rotates freely.

Any thoughts? Not something daft like too much laundry in machine is it?

Still having this issue. Tried a 90 degree wash on empty and seems to correct for a while, but a few washes later I get the error.

Has anyone any ideas please??

Could the fact that the softener drawer doesn't always siphon the water out be related to this?
