bosch exxcel 1200 express wont spin

Hi All my first post on the forum,
I have a bosch exxcell 1200 express washing machine that wont spin after washing and rinsing the clothes. If i try to put it on spin only the timer shows 11 mins and the pump will get rid of water and the timer will go to 10 minutes. Mabye 30 secs later the timer shows 1 minute and the spin cycle doesn't complete, any ideas? thanx in advance

could be a restriction blockage or weak pump ? both would do that when the spin cycle starts.

cheers delmel for the reply. I have checked and cleaned around the impellor.One thing i noticed was that when the washer was running it was making a slight noise. On looking on the underside i noticed there were blue sparks coming from the motor. I have removed the motor and took out the carbon brushes, which look pretty shot. Will replace brushes and post back.
