Bosch Exxcel 1400 express washing machine

I have purchased a used Bosch Exxcel 1400 express washing machine and im not sure if I connected it to the hot or cold water feed?

If it has twin water feed connections, you should find a plastic filter screen in each inlet, one is red .. hot water, the other is cold and is blue.
or alternatively a H and C pressed into the metal adjacent to each connection.

or if it's a single feed, then it's likely to need connecting to the mains cold supply only - the washing machine will heat the water.

But if connected to the hot water, it will be difficult to do a cold wash!

I know probably not relevant here but dual fill machines are no longer made. (Its all cold fill now).
