Bosch not spinning

Hi, I have a Bosch WFD2471 washing machine in a rental property. The machine stops on the spin cycle but will drain and smells bad. Should I replace the brushes or is something blocked? Any help please. Thank you.

Check your rental contract, faulty appliances may fall on the landlord. If so pass the buck on to him...if not check the brushes. The bad smell can be cured by boil washing & adding a bottle of white vinegar (obviously no clothes). Repeat as necessary.
