Hi All

i was wondering if you could help.

The above named/numbered Exxcel (2 - 3 years old) starts its cycle for about 3/4 minutes then stops, the water that is in the base is also cold.

The impellar rotates with a slight resistance and all the filters are clean.

I have removed and tilted it to re-set the float level indicater and the inlet feed pipe is okay with adequate pressure.

Any Ideas please as to what is wrong or if it is worth repairing (thats if I can find a repairer)

would seem the heater or thermostat has failed

Thank you for your reply, but how do I get the old one out ?

I have removed the outer casings plus the curved one under the door, and the top but cannot get in to it remove the old one.

if you have the lid and the 2 sides removed
flick the springs out of the underside of the base
make sure the 4 t20 screws removed which hold the plastic base to the tub
i ususally then put it upside down on its lid
take a picture of the wires or make a note
the casing to the heating element has a 1 or 2 screws which hold it in place if i remember correct
then it will clip out of place
