please can someone help, my washing machine gets halfway through it's programme then stops and flashes lights alternately between start and spin indicating some sort of problem, also the fab conditioner is not being taken.

Have you checked the filter? On most Bosch machines you can see the pump impellor when the filter cap is removed. You can check if it's jammed etc. There is usually a thin hose with a cap on the end for draining the water out before you loosen the filter cap.

Another possibility is a burnt out solenoid on the cold water electric inlet valve. Most machines have a cold valve with 2 or more outlets with individual solenoids for each outlet. If the solenoid for conditioner rinse burns out the machine sticks at that point in the programme.
