Bosch WBF 2405 water getting too hot

The water in my Bosch WBF 2405 is getting too hot. Is there a temperature sensor which needs replacing or is something not working which is controlling the hot water intake?

does this appliance have hot and cold water feed or just cold.
Have connected up to hot water when should be cold only?

Has both hot and cold water feeds and has been working OK for over 5 years. The feed connections are the correct way round.
