I would like some advice please on a Bosch Washing machine. It is a WAE28465GB and had some minor repairs over the years but is working o.k.
This morning there was a lot of steam in the utility room coming from the washing machine. The sides and washing powder tray were very hot to touch and there was a little bit of water under the machine which seems to have come out of the tray. We stopped the cycle and took the washing out. The drum and water were quite hot too. I took the top off to look inside but other than being hot and steamy it looked normal. The front of the tray is deformed from the hot steam.
It drains and spins as normal still.
Do these Bosch washing machines have problems with thermostats? My first thought....
What other issue could this be?
