Creda Washing Machine not dispensing the soap powder

Creda Simplicity 1000.
The powder placed in the dispenser tray is not taken in for the wash.
Water supply to the machine checked O.K. and machine is completing the wash cycle, though obviously the wash is not thorough.
Anyone experience this problem?

model no has it got a blue bit of plastic in the soap part

Washing Machine Model is W100FW.
The Soap dispenser has no BLUE tag.
The dispenser has a slide in panel which can be set to either Powder or Liquid and power is being used at present.
I was suspicious that the HOT water pressure was not sufficient, so I tested the machine with the HOT and COLD hoses interchanged and the soap powder was taken in however the machine rinsed with HOT water.
I am now checking the filter in the HOT hose.

slide the blue tag upwards, its been taken out after that model ,it caused so many probs with soap not going down

Blue slide in powder tray removed as suggested.
HOT supply connection on washing machine push in filter removed and found to be sludged. Filter cleaned and machine now O.K.
