Brass Lampholder question

Hi,

I'm trying to get a brass BC lampholder for a standard lamp. I see on the Radionics website that they are available in both a 1/2" and M10 thread. The one that I'm trying to replace looks like it's 3/8".

Is the M10 equivilant to 3/8"?

Probably as close as you'll get to 3/8 , works out at M9.5

(the number after the M is the thread diameter in mm)
