Hi all,

Pretty much as per the subject line....

I am gutting the cellar and will be battoning the walls and covering with OSB to make it fresher. No sign of damp anywhere but just by the nature of the room it does get chilly down there so am looking to insulate where possible.

Is it possible to find a membrane / barrier which offers insulation to go behind the batons and OSB or is it just not feasible? Cant see anything that fits the description on the likes of Screwfix.

TIA

You could use polystyrene insulation with baton over the top and your osb. Breathable would defeat the purpose of lining it.
