I have a number of breeze blocks left over from a project and wondered if I could use them in the garden to make some raised beds, would this be possible or will they just disintegrate? I was thinking of rendering them to help with protection

Any thoughts appreciated

Are they the heavy or lightweight ones?

Everything is possible and you could use them to make planters if suitably fixed.

However, FWIW, the lightweight blocks tend to be more prone to weathering [because they are softer] and the blocks themselves are fairly easily damaged by impacts (e.g. things hitting into them like a lawnmower]

Accordingly, if they are the lightweight blocks I am thinking of, I would make sure that any planter made up of them is suitably protected from weathering and being knocked.

I think you said you would be rendering them so that's good.

Thanks, thats what I suspected

I intend on rendering them so hopefully they should be good

Many thanks for the comments
