E-books ... The potential must be absolutely enormous.

Saving zillions of trees.. and a better product.

Perhaps a student edition
Wouldn't it be great if the thing included a decent audio reader, perhaps voice enabled 'note taking' audio to text, with printer connection.
Built in programmable Calculator etc etc.

I do mean a very thin not oversize piece of kit - Move it on forward beyond the current stuff!!
:D :D

Cal me a Luddite, but I like reading books, not screens.

And how many trees does it take to make 3 billion e-book devices? And then the replacements for ones that break?

Who wants to look at a screen book, when part of the 'pleasure' of reading is turning the page!

Call me a luddite too!

I like having a good thriller read to me on my MP3 player whilst lying on a sunbed drinking a beer though ... Particularly when the reader has a great voice (like Martin Shaw or Emila Fox).

I don't like reading books on holiday ... Too much effort

It will come ... I'll be waiting to give it a whirl.
