I recently purchased a fitted kitchen with my 72 year old disabled mum, but the workmanship and quality of the cabinets/carcases and doors are sub-standard,which the manufacturers/suppliers are disputing. I am a joiner with nearly 30 years of experience, including the fitting of so many kitchens i`ve lost count, but due to illness I no longer earn a living doing so. The problem is I would like to be able to quote the details contained within BS 6222-2 2009 and BS EN 14749:2005 which refer to the subjects that are relevent in this matter, however to obtain these could cost more than £200. I would be extremely grateful if anyone can advise me where I can download these free of charge or on some sort of trail basis. I know I appear tightfisted, but it was a struggle trying to get the money together for a much needed new kitchen ! Thanks.
