Having spoken to Bosch, I wonder if the sporadic drip could be down to the flue. This is less than a metre vertical with about 20cm horizontal to a 45 degrees angled cut end. Most others I see are vertical to a cowl of some sort. Could this open pipe allow wind to blow down the flue and cause condensate to go where it shouldn't?

Found source of drip and it was the air bleed valve. tweeked it up and it seems fine now. I was surprised by the amount of white debris in the exchanger coil and a bit annoyed to see the guy snip off about an inch of the new burner casing gasket when he replaced it during service. The manual warns against stretching it. Ho hum.
