Hi all,

i'm in the process of putting together my own drawings for building regs submission. can somebody tell me what kind of detail is required? it's for a loft extension w/ rear dormer so i'll be indicating the placement of steels with the appropriate calculations. Do i need to also detail exactly how the steels are attached to the new joists and other timbers?

There should be enough detail for the BCO and the builder to show how the work will be constructed.

Whether that detail is via text or diagrams depends on the complexity of the work
