How do you fit a door to a built in appliance and would a 70cm long Ikea door panels usually fit?

Thanks

He means what fixings are used to fit the door to the appliance.

SJR, what appliance is it? 700 is more or less standard height but you might get a tiny gap at either end. The width of the door isn't usually a problem, it can overhang either side of the appliance as long as the adjacent cabinets don't restrict opening.

I've ordered a built-in dishwasher Whirlpool ADG550 (45cm width). I've got a 50w x 70l door to cover it. The diagram of the appliance doesn't give the length of the appliance door and the manual I've downloaded doesn't refer to fitting a unit door. I've seen web comments that the instructions that come with it are not easy to follow even for a pro.

I just don't know what to expect - I've spent ages trawling the web for info but must be googling the wrong words!

Thanks

Being a dishwasher the door is almost certainly bottom hinged. The cupboard door will just screw to the dishwasher door. Ours came with a template.
