Hi all, and a Happy New Year. We seem to be having a problem with the radiator in our bedroom, in that we can't control the heat from it with the TRV.

Regardless of the temperature setting, it always blasts out full heat. If the setting is set as zero, then it doesn't heat up when the central heating is turned on... however as soon as it's turned to the minimum setting then it gets red hot, as if it was on the maximum setting.

Other radiatiors in the house work fine.

Any suggestions/advise would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Make sure that the TVR head is screwed down tightly onto the valve, failing this it could be a faulty TRV head or valve
