Hi,

First post on here. Can anymore confirm which insulation will give me the best acoustic performance for the floor in my loft room and also the party wall.

I have slab, insulation rolls and PIR board in various thickness' but don't know which ones performs best.

Any help would be much appreciated and aslo a few pics attached.

Rolls of rockwool or fibreglass will give better acoustic insulation than Kingspan-type board. Rockwool acoustic batts are especially dense.

You might get more answers if you post this in the "Building" forum below. "Your projects" is for sharing information about projects, and not for queries (it says this at the top).

Cheers
