When we had central heating fitted, the plumber used some sort of 'plastic' hosing from upstairs down to the ground floor radiators, the pipes feeding the radiator run down the wall in plastic conduit (solid ground floor)

Can I bury them, plaster deep, into the wall?

Cheers

Anton,
Your query is not quite clear.
Are you saying you have copper pipes running in plastic conduit, or are your pipes plastic and not copper.
There are plastic pipes used these days ie 'speedfit' and a couple of others so what you think is conduit maybe the water pipe.
I don't think I would bury a hot water pipe in plaster as it would waste heat and make repairs difficult.

Mandate.

You're right, it's not so clear:

The piping coming down the wall is the speed fit type, which then links to copper at floor level. The speedfit is fitted in trunking on the wall. It's this trunking that I'm looking to conceal in the wall.

I know of no reason why you should not bury your trunking in the plaster, but would it be wise to conceal it all, or leave the trunking lid flush with the plaster line

I would like to make a suggestion. If you do decide to bury the trunking in the wall please mark its location (how is up to you)

Today you know where the trunking is, next year when that new shelf goes up and water comes out of the wall you suddenly remember the trunking is there.
