hi all got a customer wants radiator feed pipes sinking into the floor (concrete) at the moment the pipes come up in the middle of the room and then run on top of the floor and has a raised floor above which has now been ripped out.
basically looks like digging up section of floor, rerouting pipes and filling floor back in etc-would you guys reccomend copper and some sort of insulation or "pipe in pipe" hep2o or any other suggestions?

thanks

hodge

i would use copper and tape it up .. you could go to the expense of underground soft copper with the insulation already added .. i also lag the pipes with 9 mm lagging and just bury in a stiff mix .

never had a problem yet doing this . :)
