Hi.
I think the pump has gone. (Drips from under the pump, then pump stopped pumping.)
What do you think is a reasonable price for a repairer to repair it?
Or is it easy enough for DIY?

Most washing machine pumps can be easily dismantled. They are usually held together by spring clips. Releasing the spring clips allows the pump body to seperate into two parts. You will probably then find the reason why the pump isn't working. A coin or some other foreign object (I once found the wire support out of a bra!) has probably jammed the pump. Clean out and re-assemble and save the 30 or 40 pounds that you will get charged just for someone visit and have a look and do exactly the same. I you do this and find you can't fix it, THEN get someone to come and fix it. At least that way you will be paying for something worthwhile!!
