Hi, I have a C&M boiler that keeps switching off, the red overheating lights comes on and after a while you can reset it and all is fine..till the next time.
On inspection all the 'baffles' in the flue had become detached due to the rivets failing. All rivets where replaced and still it switches off so the top 'overheat' (70°) sensor was replaced. This solved nothing.
sometimes it will run all day before switching off, other times it will switch off after 20 mins.
Is it possible that a build up of sludge could cause this problem? If not what else might be the cause.
Thanks JMM
