What size lugs fit 266/0.30 starter cable. Works out at 20mm I think but not seen any 20mm lugs. My crimp pliers are type with screw at top 10 - 120mm so I expect I will just have to give it an extra turn to 25mm setting? But need to buy lugs and no sure if 25mm will be too slack?

I've not seen a size in between 16mm and 25mm.

Would it be possible to solder the 20mm cable into a 25mm lug?

266 strands of 0.3mm diameter:

CSA = (π x d²)/4

(3.142 x(0.3x0.3))/4 = 0.07mm² per stand

0.07 x 266 = 18.62mm²

Thanks I had not twigged it referred to diameter I had made same mistake as holmslaw and as I had cable in my hand I knew it was not 90mm² and it looked between 16mm² and 25mm² never seen any terminals for 18.62mm² or even 20mm² so I wonder if 25mm² will close up enough? Think I need to pay visit to local auto electrician and see if he has any lugs?
