I need to try and find out what sort of flag stones these are, can anyone help?

From the fettled edge they are almost certainly natural stone.

The surface finish is confusing though as sandstone and limestone are usually riven on sawn? The surface finish on those almost looks like a bush hammered texture.

If i had to guess i'd say its kota brown limestone.
