Can anyone identify manufacturer of our bath/shower taps and/or explain how to stop them leaking?

We have this standalone bath tap/shower unit (manufacturer unknown). We only use the bath tap but when we do it frequently/always produces a tiny but problematic flow from the shower head. I can't tell if it's siphoning - usually if I drain the shower pipe by lowering it below the outlet into the bath first, it will behave but not always. Worst comes to worst I'll put a bung in the shower feed but I'd like to get it sorted (long list of snags we're sorting!). The little twisty knob that determines bath or shower doesn't get messed with but doesn't seem very "precise", could there be a washer needs replacing?

    TIA,
    T

The diverter valve isn't fully seating.when in tap only position.
How old is it ? Getting parts for taps of unknown manufacturers ,usually based in China ,can be a challenge !! Yours looks like dozens of similar ones on the market.

Is it likely I can strip it down somewhat blindly?

Worth trying . It has to be able to be withdrawn from the front. Some close up ,in sharp focus, photos of the front and side views of the operating knob may help. I doubt there is anything at the back to see.

Dismantle it. Take some macro photos and send them to shower doctor. Focus on diverter mechanism. Worth trying Lunns also, but shower doc do research for you, not sure about Lunns.

Just did a Google lense search of your image. Quite a few matches. Some slightly different. Most seem to be amazon or ebay items. Perhaps you could find the exact one and contact the seller.
