I'm away to put in a couple of new radiators on outside walls so wanted to use a radiator reflector foil. The radiators I'm using are cast iron column type so the foil would be seen through the rad which I don't want.
I am putting timber linings on the walls behind the rads so there is no wall paper etc that needs redone in time hence no need to remove the rads.
Can I put the foil heat reflector on the existing plasterboard wall and then put the timber linings over the top of the foil?
I realise the benefit may not be exactly the same but these days there is that foil bubble wrap type of insulation which is put within walls so I'm assuming what I'm on about is similar to this.
Any thoughts?
Cheers
