My built in Candy clothes ripper 3000 washer dryer has finally packed up so I had an excuse to buy something else. I went for a freestanding Zanussi ZWJ12591W which I'd like to site in a spare bay in the kitchen, just below the boiler.

It appears there's a spare waste water pipe running from this bay (which has been bent through a hole in the work surface to come up just under the boiler) and a cold water connection just below the boiler - would anyone be able to confirm if this is right?

Here's a picture of the bay I want to install it in. The red dotted line is the path of what I think is the waste pipe, the yellow arrow points to what I hope is the cold water supply.

Thanks!

hmmm....that water connection comes from a pipe labeled 'filling loop' :?

EDIT: actually, the pipe is before the filling loop tap.

Thanks! Does that mean it'd be ok/possible for me to connect the washing machine to it?

Your best bet would be to connect to the original mains supply and extend(if possible) the drain. As it stands you would be advised to not bother as you would be interfering with the boiler system.
