Can I still have central heating if one radiator is temporarily removed?

One radiator has been removed to facilitate some building work. System has been drained down and heating switched off. Will the central heating still work properly without that radiator in the loop? It's an oil fired system.

Not if its drained down it wont.

If its refilled and valves shut off where the radiator was it'll be fine.

Put blanking caps on the open ended radiator side of the valves. Especially if you have a TRV!
