Can I still have central heating if one radiator is temporarily removed?

One radiator has been removed to facilitate some building work. System has been drained down and heating switched off. Will the central heating still work properly without that radiator in the loop? It's an oil fired system.

If you refill the system (After stopping the ends where you have removed the radiator) then your heating will work just fine
