Hi All,

Going to be rubbing down window sills and wooden interior window frames which are currently painted black and repainting in white eggshell. Also, going to be repainting the ceilings too. I just need some kind professional to confirm the paints below are okay to use before I buy them.

Leyland Trade Contract 10Ltr Brilliant White Matt Emulsion Paint - For the ceilings
Leyland Trade Acrylic 2.5Ltr White Matt Interior & Exterior Wood Primer Undercoat
Leyland Trade 5Ltr Brilliant White Eggshell Emulsion Multi Surface Paint

Cheers

You painting older oil gloss or something?
I'd use a decent adhesion primer for that.

I'm not keen on contract emulsion as its for new build damp plaster ect.
I much prefer something a bit more durable and flat vs the chalky contract.

Leyland smart matt is nice for ceilings.

Thanks @Wayners . The black paint is water based satin or matt (can't tell really but deffo water based).

Can you link me to the Leyland Smart Matt you're thinking about as Screwfix only seem to have a satin based one and I don't want satin on the ceilings!

Based on what I told you about the current black paint is that Leyland primer okay?

Cheers
Daz
