Can you use easi fill to secure angle bead

increated a shelf using stud work and plaster board in a chimney breast(for tv shelving). I want to make the edges sharp with angle bead.

I was planning to chisel some of the plaster out and out angle bead in place.

I got a big bag of easi fill . Can I secure and fix the angle bead with easifill?

just use corner tape you can stick in place with easy fill then fill over
