I want to replace door seal on a Candy Activa 101 plus washing machine?
The door seal has just shredded, and I want to fit a replacement one. I managed to get the old seal out, but I am not sure how I can get the wire clamp that goes around the seal on securely. As fast as I try to fit it on the wire comes off again. (I was trying the proceedure first before I put a new replacement seal on) Does the inner edge of the gasket tuck under the rim? or is it the outside of the rim? before I tighten it in place. There is not much room, as I am trying to do it just in the port hole. Has anyone ever attempted this procedure? and how is it done please?
