Cannon Chester not igniting

I have a cannon chester 10540 double gas oven,

It has top oven with grill and a bottom oven,

Recently the top one when u push the knob in and twist for the igniter and gas to come on it was playing up but now has completely given up,

The grill still comes on tho.

I had it on but the igniter was failing to light the rest of the burner,

I had the bottom oven on so not looked at it yet.

Also where the switch/knob is that panel was beginnin to get a bit hot which I did find strange.

Call cannon. It's gas you can't touch it.
