cannon Chesterfield double oven

javascript:emoticon(':?:')When we turn on the main oven, the burner lights no problem. However the ignition keeps on going and does not switch off. We have replaced the gas valve and thermo coupling as well as the micro switch behind the main oven control knob. our engineer now says it could be the PCB..... more expense. cannon will not help as he is not a cannon engineer! Any ideas out there? Any suggestions are welcome. Oh and the cooker is just over 2 years old

Its the spark generator thats faulty or ht lead needs relacing as its not sensing the ionisation.
 
Have you had any electrical work done recently as reversed polarity can cause this too .
Only thing to add to gasbanni`s answer is possible electrode to
