Car door will not open

Hi Folks

I own a 5 door Seat Ibiza 2008. Yesterday, I discovered that the back door on the passenger side does not open from outside, although it opens as normal from the inside.

Could someone be kind enough to tell me how to rectify this problem?

Can I take it to any car garage or shall I take it to a Seat dealer?

Would it be expensive to resolve?

its probably a faulty central locking door mech. the inside if not dead or child locked should always work manually. i would get quotes from main dealer and an indy as its one of them faults that where its likely to be a part swap and an indy will be buying the parts from the main dealer and marking them up. that said it could just be a sticky linkage and an indy would cure it with a bit of greece. spray it all with wd see if it improves
