Carpet Gripper Rod

The carpet fitters are coming on Monday, I refuse to pay £1.80 per metre as Allied quoted for gripper rod, I've found gripperrod for wooden floors on tradepriced.com at reasonable prices but it probably won't get here in time. Does anyone know where I can get similar spec gripper rod around the Dorchester/Yeovil area? Are your Jewsons type places likely to stock it?
