Cars fiesta 2007 1.4 EGR valve

hi coulds anyone help me please to locate the egr valve on 2007 1.4 fiesta dsl

From memory, top of the engine, on the offside towards the back. You are looking for a convoluted round steel pipe, and I think it has a flanged joint to help you remove it.
The egr is on the end of this....basically it takes fumes from the exhaust pipe back into the inlet manifold, which may give you some idea.

thanks john you were sopt on had to remove air filter housing and fuel filter housing and the two bolts the clip into the inlet valve poped out and very easy to replace thanks ray

You're most welcome....the big issue with these engines is the injector wells filling up with diesel....bad news, that one.

Hi john it seems to be running good at the moment what are the symptoms of the dsl wells given trouble

Just a pong of hot diesel mate, which eventually starts dripping on the floor.
If yours is ok, then forget about it!
Its actually caused by a failed injector seal (a copper washer, in effect) but the seating of this washer gets distorted and the leaks start. The seating has to be machined, which is head off. PITA!

I only have one other querie john when driving the fiesta it cuts out and the battery light comes on it will start again straight away is that a faulty battery thanks again john for your help
